I think there is no better way to start out a day than to turn on your radio, as soon as you're leaving for work, and hearing "Dancing Queen" in its entirety.Which, as a complete non-sequiter, leads me to the Chicago theory of love. Now, I think I came up with this, but it might've actually been a girl named Sara I used to be friends with. Just want to give credit where it's due, yada yada. Here's the Chicago theory of love:
The person you truly love and are meant to be with is the person you think of whenever you hear cheesy love songs by Chicago. If it's one sung by Peter Cetera, don't even think of getting over this one. Try it sometime.

Better day today. Better weather, lunch with my friend Dee Dee, got to watch Buffy (and not on tape!), fried ice cream tonight for dessert. My boss and I had a little chat, which was cool, because she's wasn't pissed at me as in the "my boss is such a bitch" way, or as in the "Maranie is the biggest idiot this firm has ever hired!" way either. Overall, still in the funk, though - my boss is pissed at me, and I've just been in a very weird mood as of late. I have tons of shit piled up at work - I skipped lunch AND stayed an extra half-hour, but there's still stuff waiting for me tomorrow. Plus I'm still sore from dancing the other night and feeling overall kind of blah. But as for the funk, it's getting better, and the added comment option certainly helped. Thanks again.
Now, after a night of playing Chez Geek with Jason and Darren, I must get some sleep to tackle tomorrow. Here's hoping the boss gets unpissed at me, the weather gets considerably warmer, and that I can actually get stuff done at work without tons of new shit piling up. Plus hoping for some quality chat time in the evening as well. :-)
